Inspired by the Statue of David by Michelangelo Buonarroti, this piece was created for personal reasons.  After seeing the statue in real life in the Accademia Gallery in Florence, it completely changed my perspective of the pursuit of excellence in art.  I often think about the expression in David’s eyes, and to me, it represents judgement and conviction.  I like the way his expression spoke to me, and looked forward to hanging the piece on the wall of my own workspace, reminding me to do better.

Limited and open-edition fine art giclée prints are produced by Cimarron Wholesale in Calgary, Canada. Prints are made on the Epson Professional P9000 printer with Ultrachrome archival inks, on a poly/ cotton blend textured canvas with a water-resistant finish. This printer allows for the detail and color gradients required to meet high-quality standards with an output resolution of up to 2880 dpi. The final step is a spray application of canvas guard water-based liquid coating providing enhanced UV protection, chemical and abrasion resistance.

Prints are rolled and shipped in a protective tube, and do not include any other objects (including frames) shown in photos.

All three print sized will be unsigned and unlimited.
